The award ceremony which celebrates individuals and organizations who have contributed to the continuous growth and development of the South-South part of Nigeria was held on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Rickrex Event center in Benin City, Edo.

Taking to social media, Princess Peters shared photos of herself holding the award along with a caption appreciating her fans for the votes. She also appreciated EDISA Awards for the trophy which she dedicates to the Glory of God.

“And we won the Best Female Gospel Artist In South South @ Edisa Awards. Thank you to everyone that voted, thank you @edisa_awards, To God alone be all the glory” She wrote on Instagram.
